KESS V2 WARNING: the tool is not updated

Symptom:
Kess v2 ksuite warning: the tool is not updated. Connect the PC to the Internet and run again the software.

Optional solution:

1. Try different USB cable. Some users with the same problem fixed the problem by a new USB cable .

If you connect to internet with this clone kess v2, or make online update. The interface is destroy/broken.
1.–Buy a new NPX chip with 60 tokens inside. Desolder the old NPX and change it with new. It cost 14-20

2.–or you have to weld a connector on backside of interface ,and plug the J-link programmer.
You can reset the Kess v2 to virgin.

KESS V2 not works with k-line or does not work well?

Problem:
Feedback from some KESS V2 user: KESS V2 not works with some k-line or does not work well.
Solution:
The 9613 chip is Chinese standard, not international standard, so the technical parameter is not compatible, and neither is the chip from Malaysia Thailand and Taiwan. Advice users buy the America-made 9613 chip to replace it.
In the near future, Chinese factory will use Chinese 9637 to replace 9613, and this error will gradually disappear.

Hi guys,here comes the tips for ECM Titanium 1.61 with 26000 drivers. The newest ECM TITANIUM allows you to interpret and edit the files stored inside the memory of the Engine Control Unit (ECU) accurately without any difficulty; and through the use of Driver which true “contents” pose for reading the files contained in the control units, you can easily find the data stored in the file maps and the main rev limiter to increase the engine power, or simply the consumer to optimize.

Steps:
Open “My computer->ECM Titanium (E:)” to copy the folder “ECM FULL” to “My computer->Local Disk (C:)”.
Open “Local Disk (C:)->ECM FULL”.
Right click “ECM Titanium Alientech S.r.l.” to send to Desktop.
Open “Shortcut to Titanium” on Desktop.

Click OK for WinLicense.
Select “Info->Lizenz ECMTiatium”.
Read and click OK.

Select “Werkzeuge->Sprachauswahl” to do language setup.
Select “English” and click OK.

Done.

If Kess v2 fw4.036 v2.22 is not working, you are strongly advised to install our supplied working Setup 1.93 selfinstall.rar”, if you keep on installing the higher version of software, just copy the program you installed on C:/ and save, then install “Setup 1.93 selfinstall.rar” , finally replace the same file in Local disk C: with the newly saved data; then it will work
Get error “no protocol found” after format the SD card

Using tips:

1. Please disconnect the network before you install the software or use the device
2. Please do not update KES V2 online.
3. Kess v2 can not do truck, only do car and some motorcycle.

4.If some ECU list options are grey, it is normal. KESS V2 will keep update new models. KESS V2 supports tractor till L15, cannot do newer L21, L22, L23 etc.

I replaced chip and reset tokens, then get connection error “External exception EEFFACE” as the picture shows.
Try follow steps:

KESS V2 V2.08 FW4.036 read VAG Passat EDC17 IN Tricore

I just read the VAG EDC17 ecu with KESS V2 firmware V4.036 Master ECU tuning kit, here is a little walk-through test.

ECU: Passat 2.0TDI 2000 with BOSCH EDC17C46
Programming way: in Tricore Boot Mode
Operating system: I loaded OK on Win 7 laptop

Starting:

Though KESS V2 (FW 4.036) K-suite software has released to the newer V2.12/V2.13, I prefer using Ksuite V2.08 (cause I’ve seen several KESS V2 owners worked perfect on fw 4.036 and 2.08).

I have already loaded V2.08 on the laptop and directly open the Ksuite on desktop.

Pull down the vehicle list and select my car model and ECU type
